Now I've seen the sporting event part play out. From people on their phones, to leaving the wedding party to find a TV with the big game on, or just literally bringing the TV to the reception. Sports is a big deal in both Carolinas so plan accordingly. Our New Years was in the 70s to start January but the last 2 weekends of January ended with snow. So that sums the weather unpredictability. Not included are the wooded areas and wine type vineyards located in both Carolinas for more choices to the scenery you might pick for your wedding day. The choice really is yours for this time in your life.
